Student life at North Hills is full, rich, and intentional! Outside of the classrooms as well as during the school day our students are involved in activities like Student Government, Athletics, Community Service, Fine Arts, Choir, and Chapel. Students are given the opportunity to try several extra-curricular activities and through those activities they are able to gain experience, build friendships, and memories to last a life time.
Middle School students have an active voice in Student Government and the opportunity to plan and execute student activities such as lock-ins and community service projects like donuts for the Vallejo Fire Dept. Both Middle and High School Student Councils plan and promote and lead out in the annual prayer event “See You At the Pole.”
The entire Middle School becomes involved in the annual musical performance. Students work as actors, singers and dancers. Others help build props, design the program, and develop promotion strategies. On the night of the performance students run sound and lights or work behind the scene moving props.
Every other year our 7th and 8th grade students have the option to participate in our East Coast US History trip. The tour company, World Strides, provides an itinerary over 6 days visiting many historical sites. The tour is presented from a Christian Worldview of US History and students are frequently led to pray at various stops for specific requests for our country. Parents are invited to attend. May, 2019 is the next tour departure.
Student athletics is a significant part of middle school life. Check out the athletics tab to read more about what BACSAL, our league, offers.
