Student Life

NHCS Eagles enjoy a robust and intentional student life that provides opportunities for spiritual growth. Outside of the classrooms as well as during the school day our students are involved in activities such as Student Government, Athletics, Community Service, Fine Arts, Choir, and Chapel. Students are given the opportunity to try several extra-curricular activities and through those activities they are able to gain experience, make memories, and build friendships to last a lifetime.

Student government opportunities are offered to students in high school. Student Council members represent North Hills Christian School as leaders within the school and in the community. The Council is the “voice” of the student body in planning and making decisions about school life activities, events, and service projects.

High School students can be involved in:

  • Student Government
  • Athletics
  • Musicale held in Sacramento
  • Field trips
  • Senior end of year trip
  • Pep Rallies
  • Spirit Weeks
  • Homecoming
  • Prom
  • College Visits
  • Community Service projects

Every other year our 9th and 10th grade students have the option to participate in our East Coast US History trip. The tour company, World Strides, provides an itinerary over 6 days visiting many historical sites. The tour is presented from a Christian Worldview of US History and students are frequently led to pray at various stops for specific requests for our country. Parents are invited to attend. May 2024 is the next tour departure
