NHCS participation requires school athletes to submit a physical examination, or a statement by a medical practitioner certifying that the student is physically fit to participate in athletics before a student is eligible to try out, practice, or participate in interscholastic athletic completion. Note: If a doctor provides clearance using an alternative form, it is acceptable.
