Uniform Information

North Hills is a uniform school. Modesty, neatness, and cleanliness are emphasized at NHCS. Our dress code promotes the mind-set that school is a special place with high expectations and projects a positive image to the community. Uniform dress helps to eliminate the pressure of “dress competition” and the influence of changing styles and fads. Dennis Uniform Company provides the guidelines for expected student dress for kindergarten through high school.

There are special days during the year when students are allowed the privilege of wearing street clothes rather than a uniform to school.

  • Mission Dress Days are offered on designated Fridays. Students can come to school in non-uniform dress for a donation of $3. This fund is used to provide scholarship dollars that enable students and staff to participate in mission trips throughout the year. We are pleased to be able to provide this opportunity to Change the World.
  • Spirit weeks are other free non-uniform dress opportunities.
