Elementary Band

4th and 5th grade students

"I am SO excited you are interested in band! This is my third year at NHCS, but I have taught since 2007. I received my degree in music from Azusa Pacific University in 2005, and have been performing and teaching ever since. I am so excited to share my passion for music with you! Your first year of band is all about getting familiar and comfortable with a brand new instrument. It will definitely sound funny (at least for a while), will probably be frustrating, and (I hope), will be the most rewarding choice you make!" Rebecca Kincl, Band Director

Practices are after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:20 - 4:05 p.m.

• The first practice is September 5, 2023
• There is no band on September 14 and whenever school is closed

The cost for band is $450

• Students are expected to attend and participate for the entirety of the 2023-2024 school year, including at any performance opportunities required
• The last day to withdraw from band without being charged for the entire school year is September 29, 2023
